Best in the World!

Sometime in August 2022 the Indian Tea Association got in touch with all member tea estates asking them to send samples for the World Black Tea Quality Evaluation Competition, held in Beijing. 

Had they informed us earlier, we could have sent our best 2nd Flush teas, but we had none left so we sent current monsoon samples— never the best, but we had no choice. We never took this seriously. 

Blow us down when a few months later we were informed that we had won our category: not just the gold but the Grand Gold Medal! 

Elated by this unexpected win and recognition.
